ARMAN HAMBARDZUMYAN
“The source of my inspiration comes from the history of ancient era. I often read about the excavations of Heinrich Schliemann, Arthur John Evans and others who have found the most durable materials - bronze, ceramics and glass. Penetrating into the thoughts, perceptions and feelings, I try to connect those three together.”
Young yet already accomplished, he is a sculptor whose mentality, understanding of life, and style of expression are altogether unique. Possessing equal ability in very different media (techniques), he is able to find talented solutions by combining them.
Arman Hambardzumyan was born in Yerevan. He studied at the National Center of Aesthetics after Henrik Igityan (2000-2005), and afterwards at Yerevan State Pedagogical University, Department of Painting and Graphics (2005-2011).
Arman Hambardzumyan's works are displayed at the Boyajyan Center for the Arts, Contemporary Hall of Kishinev Gallery, as well as in private collections in Armenia, Russia, US, Germany, Korea, Italy and France.
